Okay, the conference starts at 12:30 EST tommorow for me - right in the middle of school. I'm really not doing anything important the last half of the day (chorus, Ap class - exam is over, and math, which I'm ahead in), and I'd love to come home to watch the press conference.

Problem is, I can't just LEAVE, I can't afford the absence, and might fail because of absences. And I doubt I can convince my parents to get me out of school.

So what should I do? Any ideas are appreciated. I don't care if it'll be online when I get home, I just can't sit there in class knowing it's happening. I wathced Sony live, and will watch Microsoft live...Nintendo's the only one that conflicts with anything.

Another issue - My parents can't just get out of work to pick me up (hardy har har, I don't own a car...yet), so I'd have to coax my sister into getting up before 2PM and picking me up. Then I'd have to convince my parents to write a note saying I was sick but they weren't able to sign me out so...etc etc.

HELP MEEEEEH!

I'll be missing both Nintendo's and Microsoft's press conferences also. I say you just go to school and download them later, especially if you can't afford the abscence.

I meant I can't afford an unexcused absence. But I may just have to cry in school tommorow

At least I know someone else feels my pain.

The Nintendo press conference is between 2 finals for me, so I'll be coming home and watching it. :D
However, I have a final during the Microsoft conference, so I'll have to watch it after the final.

If you risk failing a class to see an e3 conference, you are a fucking idiot.

I am fortunate to have no exams until 7:00 at night tomorrow so I will be giddy as a schoolgirl watching the conference.

Just remember - the news will still be there after school. And besides it's not like Nintendo is keeping track of who watches and who doesn't. You will still be aloud to play with Nintendo's Wii, they LOVE it when people play with thier Wii.

It is called download it after school is over with. Just don't read anything about it until you can actually watch it. That is what I would do since you can't afford the absent day on your record.

I ended up getting 'sick' and watching the conference. And whoever said I'm in risk of failing...no see our school's attendance policy is stupid as fuck ...I'd only fail if I couldn't excuse it somehow by saying I'm sick. But it worked

Totally worth it by the way. Great press conference, better than sony's (which sucked...a lot)
