Everything you hear on the web is all rumors until its been OFFICIALLY mentioned by the company. So anything you hear..take it with a grain of salt until it comes out the mouth of the company officially in a press conference or something.
INSIDE INFO...SONY to collaborate with Nintendo...SHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Yeah, I don't think we'll see a PSP2 for quite some time.

While I agree with Grave here... I have to mention that everytime I see a post from him I am taken back to his "ass-balls" trimmer review...

Yes, there will be a revised PSP. No it won't be this soon. Look at how Sony has handled the revisions of it's past consoles. I would say in 3-5 years a revised PSP is coming. Based purely on history alone.

I think you're pretty close to being right. I think it might be a little sooner than that, due to the massively declining sales of the UMD format. I actually like watching the little movies on my PSP, but the prices compared to DVD prices are pretty staggering. I don't think Sony will abandon the format as readily as some people are saying, but I do think we will see it go away at some point in the future.
I hope the "PSP 2" holds off a while, since I just bought my PSP.

I was thinking we might see the rumored PSP with hard drive but I guess not. I have been hearing about this one for a while from different sources.

Yaeh, I'm actually glad that a PSP2 was not unveiled at E3, or at least so far. I've been really on the fence in terms of getting one. I guess now with that CC coupon for $40 (shhh) I'll try and pick one up, though I'm really not sold on the system. It's just that for the summer it might be fun and for my big ass trip.

How about Movies on a memory stick. I wish games would be released on memory sticks. If even for a higher price. But I digress.

I never really believed the PSP2 rumors anyway, they just sound stupid. Why release it with a hard drive when the battery life isn't that great and memory sticks are going down in price? I doubt we'll get a PSP revision for 2-3 years, give the technology some time to advance like it did from PS2 to PSTwo.
