Yeah I just read that over at Gamespot. Shiny is devloping so who knows how it will turn out.

Probably as good as Earthworm was when they did the first 2. They did some crappy Matrix games, but everything else they ever did was either awesome, or revolutionary.

by "3d side-scrolling platformer", I assume it is 3dish, like how Smash and the NSMB are 3d but move on a 2d plane.
Right?
I cant think of any other way for the phrase to make sense.

Super sweet. I'd love a compilation of 1+2 for the DS. The Gba versions were a little lacking. They need to be able to save anywhere too.

That's what i meant though. It could be awesome. But after the stuff they recently did who knows.

Sounds like you're right. Which will be good, as most 2d characters have skill-sets that work in 2d and dont in 3d so well. I think Earthworm Jim 3d was a flop, I dunno - never played it.
