I'd love to hear more perspectives from different sites that are constantly updating from E3. Anybody know of some good sites besides IGN and gamespot that are keeping up-to-date...or more like up-to-minute?

Gamespot, not for any particular reason really.

I've been watching joystiq for up-to-the-minute updates, and then I usually head over to one of the bigger sites for live feeds, etc.

Penny Arcade forums is really the only source of gaming news that you need. Anything that happens anywhere will be reported there with extreme speed. That Wii name announcement thread that I made here? It was posted there the minute Nintendo's site went up, early enough for me to break the news on THREE different forums.

Gamespy, 1up, gametrailers are some other sites you might want to check out.
There's so much news and previews to read I'm feeling overwhelmed.

I just wrote about this on my blog:

Gamespot definitely has the edge. Their live streaming video from the show floor is excellent. And it allows you to submit questions live for the interviewees. And if you are a subscriber, check out The Rail Beta - a slideshow of news, previews, and movie headlines. I hate how most sites organize by game title. A lot of news falls through the cracks this way. Gamespot definitely has the better format.
IGN seems to be sleeping.
1UP is pretty much impossible to find any content - it's there, it's just buried under the poor site design. I'd recommend the 1UP Yours podcast - it's a nightly recap of the day's events, with panel discussion. It's refreshing to hear some personal opinions of the editors rather than the objective presentation of the headlines like everyone else. If they don't like something, they say it.
I wish the sites were organized so that each staff member had their own blog, and they were free to write about what they saw throughout the day. I would like to get each person's opinion on things, and this way the news could be covered by sending out staff en masse. 1UP is best positioned to do this, but finding staff blogs aside from the recent updates is a chore.

I'm just reading stuff on here since the news is posted fairly quickly. I don't even need to search, I just look for all the new posts and I'll know what's going on.

I love Gamedaily's coverage the most, it's very well organized: http://www.gamedaily.com/e3-2006/

Joystiq at home and Engadget at work. Then, I'll watch me some AOTS later in the day.

I made the mistake of deciding to see what joystiq and Kotaku had and lo and behold tons of retarded skewing going on. Joystiq had a post about MS supplying the bags (MS has been supplying bags since the Xbox was announced)...............
It's a shame these retarded blogs have the ability to get a media badge.
Gamespot is superb at maintaining pure news reporting rather than sticking in an editorial spin on every single event.
