looks like all current gen stuff. But hell, thats what NIS has always been about. Their sprite quality hasnt honestly gone that much further than PS1. And they are commited to staying that way. If Sony gives them trouble with their low-res sprites on the PS3, I'll be so happy I wont know what to do with myself.

Atlus loves handhelds and I'm starting to realize why everyone loves Atlus.

Last year, Atlus told us they planned to “Make SMT into a flagship RPG series, like Square-Enix has with Final Fantasy.

Fantastic! I can't believe how much I love those SMT games (except Digital Devil Saga) and I'm glad Atlus will be pumping more out in the US.

I'm gonna have to continue supporting them with more full price purchases for most of their stuff.

Nice to see NIS is comeing out with more RPGs and not just SRPGs. Seeing how Atlus said they wanted to come out more mainstream I would hope that means I won't feel a rush to buy one of their games evertime they come out or face the chance of going with out.

Yeah, me too. Maybe they'll publish on Rev and 360 instead, that would really make my day.

Well, Atlus really depends on those good but small Japanese developers who lack any publisher in the West and cannot afford to pursue it on their own. It will be a while before that ecosystem has anything for the PS3 and 360 that isn't immediately snatched up by big publishers looking to be represented in the next gen sooner than later.

Remember how Activision published the incredibly bad Orphen for the PS2 launch? If that game was done a few months later its value to Activision would have been nil. So imagine how heavily those big publisher are pursuing GOOD games right now.

I'm glad Atlus is giving Wii some love (Trauma Center), and with the lower development costs and price tag and such...I honestly think there's a chance the Wii oculd take off and be a perfect fit for both these developers on Wii this generation.

That would make me a very happy man, indeed.

DEVIL SUMMONER AND PERSONA 3 (confirmed for US, I suppose)!!

*orgazm*

And Trauma Center 2 sounds cool. And it's good to see NISA keeping up the good work.

"The only obvious thing that can be determined from these photos is that the gameplay is similar to the first Trauma Center, making it a surgery 'sim' of sorts. But how will this game be played if there's no stylus? I wasn't sure, so I went up and asked an Atlus representative."

Is the writer completely stupid?

What's hilarious is that it was so difficult to even convince them to bring one SMT game out, eons ago.

Yeah, cost-wise you'd think that the Wii would be good for 2D games.

I'm excited to see Contact, Trauma Center, Touch Detective, Persona 3 and Devil Summoner. Some great Atlus games are coming!

I <3 Atlus.

I'm eagerly anticipating pretty much every game on that list (especially Persona 3 and Devil Summoner, I want them NOW!).
