to use xbl on a wireless network, do you have to use the ms gaming adapter or can you use any adapter?

Not sure why you need a G adapter unless you're going to have multiple XBoxes on the same wireless LAN. I would suggest a wireless bridge that you configure for your wireless LAN then plug the ethernet cable from your XBox into the bridge. That's pretty much what the XBox adapter is but carries a heafty price tag.

i've been checking both. they run about the same price on ebay.

Ive heard other wireless adapters work. Ive used the orginal xbox wireless adapter on the 360 with no problems.
