Figure for the trade value and/or just the value of playing with Fiance with the Mario party 4 pack in I would get the 28 dollar kmart bundle wavebird/mario party 4. so far just been playing Rampage:total destruction but the controllers so far works great.

It's a terrific controller. Took me awhile to get used to using the Wavebird anywhere in the room; instead of 4 ft. in front of TV w/ standard GC controller.

Bar none, that is the best wireless controller on the market. 2nd best goes to any wireless PS2 controller Logitech has produced, though until they fix their issue where the 'X' button starts sticking after a few months, they barely compare to a Wavebird.

My favorite and most comfortable (for me) controller of all-time.

The Wavebird is quite good, but the wireless Xbox 360 controller is right there with it.

(although I'll give it to the Wavebird since it came out about four years earlier)

I was the biggest skeptic of any wireless controller until I tried my friends wavebird... wow. I have no fears about how well the Wii-mote will be because of how flawlessly the wavebird handled.

It is nice, but I still prefer the regular controllers for smash.

If the Gamecube controller wasn't one of the worst designed controllers ever I'd agree. As it is, they made chicken salad out of chicken shit. The Wavebird is great.

i think the gamecube controller works just fine. sure the buttons suck for cross-platform games (like say nba live or something), but it works just fine for games designed for gamecube.

Except for the Z button, the Wavebird is a great controller. Best wireless controller by far, though the 360 controller is also good.

I always thought about getting a Wavebird, but I need rumble! My love for the rumble feature has kept me tethered to my 'Cube for years, and it's been worth it for each one of those shaky moments.

My wavebird that I bought used at GameStop is just as responsive and just as accurate as my standard nintendo wired controller. I bought it like a year and a half ago and I'm on my second set of batteries and the first ones were cheap generic ones. I was a cynic at first too but Wavebirds rock!

I love my Wavebird! I got my friend to get one for his cube and he loves it too. Every few weeks he will borrow a gamcube game from me just because he wants to use his wavebird some more... lol

Yeah, the lack of rumble is probably why I haven't jumped on the Wavebird bandwagon yet, but maybe with the Wii coming out, I can find a great deal on some.

I'll still be tethered for 'Cube games on the Wii. :) I wish they would've sacrificed some battery life and/or overall size for rumble on the Wavebird, but oh well. It's about the only 'Cube accessory I didn't pick up (along with the GameBoy player).

I hate the rumble feature so there was no reason not to enjoy the wavebird.

As for the design of the GC controller, it's mostly good, but the shoulder buttons are all poorly designed (L,R and Z). Still, I love the feelings of the control stick and the giant a button.
