what would i need

If i go out and buy a USB cord hook one end to the psp one end to my pc is that all i would need?

yep, all you need is the usb cord, drag and drop the file from the PC to the PSP.

Unfortunetly not. The PSP doesn't have a standard connector.

You should be able to find a USB cable with a 5-pin Mini- B connector at any electronics store. Most of the compatible ones will have a giant sticker on them that says PSP compatible and aren't expensive.

Mini-B USB cables ARE pretty standard these days.

True. I bought one of those cheapass accessory kits for my PSP, and the shitty USB cord didn't work at all. So I use the one from my Sony digital camera, and it works perfectly. Any USB device these days will come with one of these cords.

question now. since this is a USB cable can i use this same cable to hook my Printer to my computer or would i need a new USB cable

AHHHH after opening it up i find out i could get a Case, usb cable, 12 cases , 4 screen protectors and other junk at another best buy. for 10 bucks (what i paid for the cable itself) (i picked it up from FYI using a gift card) and since its open there are no Returns ... Son of a #$#$#$$
