put the auction on your watch list and they will call you when the auction has 1 or 2 mins left. Then you place a bid.

Ok it just all worked for me.

They will call you when the auction is down to 2 minutes, all you have to do is place a bid higher than your old one and it works, even if you are still outbidded. I just got an email confirming they will pay me minutes after the end of the auction. In the title it said a $10 payment, but in the email they said they would pay $20. I ahven't actually got the payment yet, just a confirmation saying they will pay me in 1-2 days.

It would have been nice of the OP to steal the info completely from SD rather than partially. Here's the steps (thx to stasther @ sd):
What to do exactly:
1. Go to http://www.unwiredbuyer.com and on the right fill out the registration. Use the same email as your paypal email when you sign up, because that is where they will send the money.
2. Find an auction that is close to being done and add it to your watch list. Since I only wanted the $20 and did not want to acutally buy anything, I found a car auction that was 5 minutes from being over with a price that seemed to be way below reserve price
3. Go to your Unwiredbuyer account and click on "Update Auctions," this should refresh your page and display the item that you just added to your watch list. Make sure "Call Me" is checked on the item.
4. Wait for a call from unwiredbuyer. My call came within a minute of me clicking "Update Auctions," there was only about 4 minutes left when they called me
5. The voice will tell you what auction it's calling about, how much time is left and what the bid is it right now. Then it will give you an option of placing the lowest possible bid, which is what I did. I did win the auction, but the reserve was not met, which is good,
6. You will get an email from support@unwiredbuyer.com confirming that you have used their service and now can get your $20. Follow the link in the email, to confirm.
7. You're done! The money was in my PayPal within minutes of me clicking the confirmation link.

Thanks for the tip, putting the first letter in caps worked fine but logging in like I do to Ebay it wouldn't work...


I signed up then found a car that was well under priced and under the reserve and used that to bid when they called. Waited on the line for the last 2 minutes of the auction and they kept saying i was the winning bidder and then that i won the auction even though I was well under the reserve and not actually a winner. Oh well my $20 confirmation is in my mailbox says 1-2 business days and payment will be sent.

FYI: YOU HAVE TO BID over the phone. They will NOT let you do buy it now auctions. I was going to do a .01 BIN ebook or recipe but it didn't work because you have to actually place a bid with the service. Search recipe and look for a .01 one ending soon or just find a car under the reserve and bid the smallest amount possible. That's all you have to do, add to your watch list through Ebay, sign up, 2 minutes before auction ends they call, bid, receive email, receive $.

Wow Quack that sucks, it does work though! I've got my $20 sign up and then received four $5 referral bonuses so far and have one more that's "qualified" and they/I should be getting the money tomorrow. All four of those i've been paid for got their $20 plus then got $3 each from me for signing up, the fifth person just did theirs this evening. I got my $20 in less than 2 hours and the referral bonus takes about 1-2 days.

Yea after I did they it took them a Day. Make sure your Spam Filter is turned off. I think that was the problem with mine. But Just yesterday there was an email from paypal stating they sent me 20.00. I didn't have to do a conformation with them.

Also, for you paranoid ones, just changing your eBay password is not enough, their website will still have access. To remedy that, go to Preferences under My Account, and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. Then revoke the authorization under Third-Party authorizations. And that should do it.

I have been fighting with them over 3 referalls i got that were approved over 2 weeks ago. They have not paid me and now those referalls arent even showing up on my page at all. Got my $20 and $15 for my previous 3 referalls with no problems though.

to make sure you guys are all doing it right, remember:

- you cannot bid on auctions outside the US, or any that use forign currency.

- if you don't hear the chick say "bid confirmed", you don't get paid

Also, you have to use the phone bid system to get paid. Bidding on their website won't work. If you are having problems getting them to call you,

- make sure you havent clicked the "go live" button, or "place a bid"

- look for the green phone. If you see the red phone, start over

And, remember the rules; you have to have at least 10 feedback score or 1 year old ebay account to qualify.

Other than that, I guess maybe my $520.00 in referral fees may have something to do with the stoppage.

Just tried this... unfortunately I won the item. It was a Dell Optiplex for $200, which I didn't realize until I won it that it was a crappy P3 1 GHz with 128 RAM and a 20 gig hard drive... so i'm just gonna bite the negative and walk with my $20 paypal. Hi, i don't know if i did this right, do you have to use the service the first time they contact you, or what? What happened to me was they tried contacting me for a few auctions, but i didnt have my cell on. Then when they cotnacting me for another auction, my cell was on but the price was too high. THEN i finally was called about the auction i was waiting for and didn't know if i had to be the high bidder, then loose or just bid so i became the high bidder, but thankfully lost. The funny thing is i was bidding on the information to get this $20 LOL. So is what i did right?
