That's insanely cheap, isn't it? Too good to be true maybe?

I'd just make sure you can turn it on to test it out at his place before you finalize the deal. Maybe bring a DVD player with a good tester movie and some quality cables.

And make sure you test it for a good 30 minutes and give it a chance to warm up. Some probelms won't show until it's warmed up

I bought a 20" TV/VCR a couple of years ago for $20 and it still works great :)

I agree with Cappy Cobra though, definitely let it warm up. I would also bring a dvd player or something to make sure all the inputs work.

I wouldn't buy anything that expensive from Craigslist unless you get to test it before exchanging money. If he won't let you go by his place, the best thing to do is rent a cheap motel room. This is so he doesn't show up and rob you blind. Don't forget to bring an extra guy in case there isn't any merchandise and he just wants to jack you for your 700 bucks.
