Wouldn't you just DL to your desktop and just transfer to your memory card through the USB cable? I've got plenty of portable porn on there...

If there are new maps or contents added to the game, you'll have to read the official website to see how to do that. If not, they usually let you download and it might have a README file or HTML file to tell you how to add new content to the game.

Inorder to play games online, you MUST have wireless. Without that, you cant play online.

If you already own the DS wi fi thing that will also work on the PSP .

that psp one they are showin in the page says on the box. WORKS WITH DS as well. so i guess if you buy it it would run the PSP and the DS. But i never heard of the company and would hate to toss 40 bucks out for somethign that breaks in a month.

Just buy a wireless router. You can get a decent one for the same price of that shitty PSP thing, or possible even cheaper. Then you are set for the DS, the PSP, and any other wireless networking you want to do. Simple.

If I buy a wireless router then I have to buy that wireless network adapter for my 360 which is connected through a wired connection and the expenses will then be adding up. Thats the reason I am thinking about picking this up.

This may be a ridiculous question but can I buy a wireless router just for use with the psp and ds and use it in addition to my existing home setup which has a wired modem and router or will this screw everything up? My home setup has two xbox 360's and an xbox hooked up to it. I don't want to screw that up to play the psp online.

If this is possible I'll just buy a wireless router, if not it doesn't hurt to ask.

i think some wireless routers have wired ports on them as well. I'm not sure so you may want to check on the individual one you buy.

you are correct, wireless routers have wired ports on them.

I use a Dlink wireless router (DI-624) and it has 4 wired ports on it. I have 2 PCs connected to it (wired) and used to have Xbox360 also wired into it. I also use it to browse using my PSP and used it for DS wifi

Almost all wireless routers have wired ports (2-4). You run your cable connection from the modem to the router, and then the signal is sent wirelessly, as well as through the other 4 wired ports, should you choose to use them. Since the DS and PSP have wireless adapters built-in, the router is all you need.

One piece of advice: go for 802.11g, rather than 802.11a or 802.11b. G is a faster version of B, which is the most widely used format, and G is interchangeable with B.

What means are you conencting to the internet now?

If you have broadband you're insane if you don't have a router just on the security issue alone. Wireless routers are damn near free these days. Fry's Electronics recently sold a $30 Netgear model with a $30 rebate. Once the rebate arrives my only cost for having a spare unit around is the sales tax ont he original purchase and a stamp to mail the form. Such deals are very common. The devices offered may not be the latest and greatest but almost certainly more than you really need.

Even if you're on dial-up a wireless router is still the way to go. Nearly all such units can be configured to act just as wireless access points with the routing and DHCP functions left dormant. Use Internet Connection Sharing to share your dial-up connection and the PSP will see it through the wireless router acting as a bridge to your PCs network port.

Just received my wireless d link router yesterday in the mail. Hooked it up and was able to take the psp online with no problems. It's freaking awesome, lol. As some of you pointed out, this was a much better solutin than buying the usb wi fi adapter. I now can go online with the xbox, xbox 360, psp and I got this off of ebay for the same price as the wifi adapter, $30 bucks. Thanks for the advice gents.
