If they are OOS they will just send you an e-mail saying it's backordered later. That's what they did to me when i ordered a hard drive one time.

Yep. They are the worst when it comes to backorders. If it doesnt go to "shipped" quickly, its dead.

mine got cancelled as well. Someone over at SD posted a link to a 60 gig refurb for 150 and I pulled the trigger and ordered that one.
