That computer is sweet. If I had some extra cash I would sell off my ibook and upgrade. I'm going to wait a few years, though. It's a good deal too. The computer is $1049 with educationtional discount at the apple store.

Nice deal, too bad I just bought the MacBook Pro, but if anyone is looking to get a mac, this is a great place to start and what a great price on top of it.

I think that so many people ordered it that the first possible date of shipment is now 7/25, well past the last day of submission for the rebate. That's a shame
