Free subscripstions to Computer/Gaming Magazines

Seem to work for me with other stuff, 5 different magazines which are cool. Got one already for EGM with another site. They say it is because they make their money off advertisers not selling the magazines, so this basically means it gets into more homes. And they are free. I use fake comic hero names on them which is pretty funny.

I dunno theres something errie about getting EGM for free. I dont know if I could do it. I fear that FBI agents are going to break down my appt door and wisk me away once I break open the first free magazine.

One thing you may need to be careful of, especially of EGM, is that you have to tell them not to auto-renew for you, or you may get a bill after a year. I am sure if they sent you a bill, you could call and complain and they will just stop your service, but it is probably a hassle.
Just something to be weary of...

My post implies that you are using a real name where something is at stake. I guess if you are using a fake name, then nothing is at stake except for maybe the fact that it is probably considered mail fraud (not that anyone would do much over something like this though)

Yes, there's already a thread. I signed up for EGM and XBN from there and got EGM about a month later and I received my July issue of XBN two days ago. I got the June issue about a week or so ago. I'm subscribed to EGM for free until 2006. :)

I always use the name Jack Strop.

It's the name of some guy from an original gameboy Track and Field game. I remember reading the Nintendo Power with it like 3 years after it came out and finally realizing what the joke was. Now I use it for everything.

On a related note, I've been getting my free mags for about a month now. Yay.
