Tales of Destiny
Saga Frontier 1
Brave Fencer Musashi
Inuyasha
Final Fantasy 8
Final Fantasy Tactics
Final Fantasy Origins

In my opinion add Parasite Eve, Chrono Cross, Grandia, and FF 7 and 9 to the list

Bah, Persona 1 was really bad. Persona 2... much, much better. I'd definitely recommend that.

Crash Bandicoot 2,3, they're really excellent games.
If you are an art buff then pick up Saga Frontier 2.
Symphony of the Night cannot be stressed enough, it's one of the best games ever made.
Breath of Fire IV is an excellent traditional RPG.

No Chrono Cross = the supreme, flop PSX list.:-P Great list otherwise... but also needs MGS, Ape Escape, Grandia and Wild ARMs.

If you want something good and cheap, you might want to look at Wild 9. Very underrated, and you could probably find it for a buck or two.

Future Cop L.A.P.D. is definitely an underrated game. You should be able to find it cheap.

Valkyrie Profile? Undervalued? Maybe for the first year it was out... but everybody knows about this game now.
Brigandine is medicore at best. I couldn't even stomach playing past the first stage without almost falling asleep.
Tactics Ogre on the other hand.. top notch.
