So I've used the same ps2 memory card since I got my ps2 5 years ago. Still works, i just keep deleting the old saves off it once the game is gone.
I'm just wondering how long will the memory card last? Since I am a CAG, I don't really see any point in buying a new one if this one will keep working.

i dont see why you even posted this if its working its working i bought mine around 5years ago allso and i have a ps1 card that still works and its9 years old

I also have a launch PS2 Memory Card. No problems here either.

as long as its a first party card it should last forever theoretically. I still have a pile of PS1 memory cards and they all work fine.
Flash memory has a life expectancy of approximately one million writes.
