I was looking to get another game to use on XBL but don't want to buy a game no one plays. I was thinking about Dead or Alive Ultimate, then theres also the juggernaut that is Halo 2.
Got any suggestions on what are good active XBL games?

Brothers in Arms, PGR 2, and Crimson Skies are cheap games that you can find some players.

Rainbow Six 3. Great Game and people still play.

At least with Halo 2 you won't lose too many people to the 360. It will stay busy all the way till Halo 3 next year.
If you don't have Halo 2, you should *definitely* get it. It's the first game to rival Goldeneye for the amount of fun I've had with a multiplayer FPS.
PGR2 is very active on Live. My racing enthusiast buddy likes Forza slightly better though.
To add to the previous suggestions, Ghost Recon 2 is good. Battlefront 1/2 are good if Star Wars is your thing. I usually have to start games of Timesplitters Future Perfect, but you can get a lot of people to join. Far Cry Instincts still seems fairly popular.

If you like sports games, NBA 2K6 is very active on Live. I have always been able to find a game everytime I go on.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I went with Halo 2 because of the amount of people online. I'll definitely consider some of the games that were mentioned!

Far Cry Evolution is good too.
Alot of people have it and Instincts both, and play back and forth.
Oh, also "Warpath" is coming out for Xbox next month. It's a Unreal type online game check it out. It uses the Havok engine.
