Just saw the Sunday ad for Gamestop, and the most notable thing I saw was a GBA for $29.99, also Tony Hawk is $3.99. Those two would be a pretty good pickup.

The Tony Hawk game looks like it'sfirst GBC one...and it's quite possibly one of the most god-awful games released for the system. It scrolls vertically, and jumps to a cut scene every time you perform a trick. It's a bloody mess. Save the $4.00 for something else. Don't buy Tony Hawk.

It says that it's on sale from its regular price of $49.99, and that the offers are good until June 13. So you better hop on this fast.

Also Skies of Arcadia Legends is on sale for $14.99. I believe it's for a new copy, as well.

Is Skies for 14.99 a YMMV deal or is it nationwide? I've been wanting to pick this up for awhile and if it is 15$ brand new I think now is the time.

Well, the back of the flyer showed all stores in north eastern Texas, so I don't know if it's regional or nationwide.

Hmm. $30? Wasn't EB offering $50 toward an SP with trade-in of an old GBA?

Hmmm... I wonder if you can do this.. Buy 3x Gba and a few cheap but eligible games.. Trade in the gbas for xbox.. But probably not since its towards the purchase of an xbox.

Okay, I just called my local Gamestop and the clerk confirmed the deal is going on.

I looked on the Gamestop site last night, and they had them on sale for $50. But then again, I don't know if the online store relfects the deals in B&M stores.

He said they had tons of them and are trying to get rid of them. So if anyone wants me to pick them up one, I can do it.

I'm going to pick one up today. If anyone wants me to get them one, they can paypal me $35 to cover shipping and the box. Other than that, I'm not interested in making money off selling them. I just thought someone might be interested.

EB gives you $30 credit for an old GBA, so you get the SP for $70 unless you trade in two games with the old GBA, which would put the SP at $50.

I did this yesterday without the games and got that super cool retro SP.

I'm going to be trading in some games and DVDs, so hopefully, I can get the GBA without spending much money. Maybe I can immediately trade all that in and get the retro SP. I really really want that.

Can you trade in any GBA game for the extra credit? If so, you can trade two Tony Hawk games. They are on sale for $5, so you'd make $10.

um...if you buy a GBA regular for 30 and they offer 30 for a trade-in, so it is completely pointless to buy a new GBA and then trade it for an SP. Grave, when are you going? I'm going to check after work today if mine has the deal, and if they don't I'd appreciate it if you could pick up some for me.

Just to let you know, I'm in Long Island and I got the same exact ad in the paper.

Must be nationwide!

Actually, if you trade in the GBA with two GBA games you get the SP for $50. So you spend $30 on the GBA, spend $10 on two Tony Hawk games. Then trade them in for $50 in credit on a GBA SP. That's saving $10.

Or you can just go buy one at Wal-mart for $89.

What might be a good deal is if you buy a GBA from Gamestop for $30, and then pick up a few cheap used GBA games with their buy 2 get 1 free deal, and then trade in the GBA and 2 games for the GBA SP. Not sure how cheap used GBA games are, but I'd imagine you can find some for less than $10 each?

So you have to go through a lot of hassle to get something for the same price as Wal-Mart? AWESOME. Does Wal-Mart have the NES SP?

Picked up my advance yesterday, this sale combined with the buy two get one free used sale, has caused me to spend lots of time and money in Gamestop this weekend. Now if I can get some time to play all my new games.
