View Full Version : Xbox live... still worth it?

I'm considering getting live after having my Xbox for a good long while without. I'm wondering if anyone still plays anything but Halo and Forza. Is it relatively easy to find a live game in something like Top Spin, Blitz, i.e. the kind of games that aren't burning up the charts? I'm basically stuck with about 5 games when I use Xlink Kai/XBConnect, and am willing to pay for a larger pool of players.
Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

would probably help if you mentioned what games you'd like to play...
i noticed fighters are mostly empty :(

I've just been on LIVE myself for 3 weeks, after owning my Xbox for 4+ years.
I like it. I have a blast on Battlefield 2: MC, Far Cry Instincts & Evolution.
I'm to pick up "Warpath" a new online shooter with the Unreal Havoc engine, and Madden 2007 too in a few months, & Star Wars Battlefront 2 very soon.
Alot of guys play Counter Strike & the Rainbow Six series of games too.
So IMO it's worth it

Why are fighters empty? You'd think there'd be more players online, especially with the huge fighter thread here.

It's always been worth it to me .
Halo 2 is worth it alone.
Other releases like Mechassualt 2 are just icing on the cake.
