I just placed an order at secondspin and need to cancel it. I typed in my gift card info, then went back and added a dvd, then went to the checkout again (did this 2 or 3 more times) and I sort of got confused. The last time I went through I forgot to type in the gift card info and the system had my saved credit card info and put the charge through. I fucking hate when they save my credit card info, as I do this a lot, but I've always done it on amazon where it can be easily cancelled. I can't find any way to do that with secondspin.
I e-mail both order and billing departments telling them to cancel it, but it does not mention whether they can cancel or not. I've seen some sites that refuse to cancel orders once placed.
Anyone know what they'll do? Their office is only open monday-friday.

Good luck, they've got some pretty useless customer service.

Ok, now it's getting strange. They wouldn't cancel the order, but the woman told me to send it back. I then asked if I will get a refund on my credit card since she just kept saying I'll get "credit". She said yes, as long as I mention that when I return the package.
Well I check my paypal today and I notice that the charge was never claimed and I got the money back today. But the items shipped yesterday, though one of the cd's was removed. It seems strange they'd cancel one of the items I ordered (reducing the price by $9) and not put a charge through for the reduced price before shipping, or within the next 36 hours.
Here's hoping they got confused and I get free stuff! Though my luck I'll find a charge for the reduced price in the next few days.
