Hardware problem.

Ok my PC doesnt want to let the disk drive slide out. I push the button and it simply refuses to slide out. I can play the disk currently in there, and my other one is opening and closing. When I push the button it just blinks a few times then nothing happans.

Is there anything at all I can do in hopes of fixing this? Or because its a hardware problem am I doomed to taking it for repair. If I must, any clue how much something like this runs and is it better to take it to a local place or into someplace like best buy.

Have you tried a paperclip or straight pin and putting it in the small hole beneath the tray? That usually will allow it to pop open. Unless a disk is in at an odd angle, then good luck.
