I'm pretty sure he's talking about the 30% off red tagged used games, that has been going on for a few weeks.
The signs have a huge 30% off thing, then tiny print that says specially marked, or stickered or something, then huge lettering for USED GAMES, so i can understand the misunderstanding.

The 30% off is ALREADY discounted. Meaning, if there is a RED DOT, its already been marked down (and you can still get MVP on top of it). Some games were marked more then 30%.

wow guess you all forgot. This was posted 2 weeks ago. Nothing spectacular, but I did get Buffy 1 for Xbox for a little under $12, not too shabby.

I tried one of the GC in my area, and the discount titles were junk, mostly old sports games. I did pick up a mint, used copy of Onimusha 3 for $37 while I was there! What an awesome game. I can't believe someone traded that game in already.

This would be a great deal if the GameCrazy near me had anything worth buying....

I swear, I think every week they get a box marked "craptastic" and just dump it's contents out on to the rack. They suck.

I really hate the selection and quality level of games at this chain. I have 3 stores in my area and all of them have a terrible selection and poor quality games. When I was in one of my stores this weekend purchasing Onimusha 3, a kid came in with his mother to trade in some PS2 games. The clerk took the games out to look at them and they were scratched to hell and back. He said these games are pretty scratched up, then processed the trade anyway. Guess that explains why the quality of games is so poor.

They do have excellent trade-in values however, which is why my cheap-ass keeps going back. It takes some time, but eventually you can find a deal on a gane in good condition. I had one title that EB offered $3 and GC offered $12. No denying the difference. They also have used guides in good conditon for $2.99. I get all my guides here.

Actually my gamecrazy is picky when it comes to scratched games. They always check if the games have deep scratches, and refuses to take them if they do. So I guess it depends on the employee and not the chain itself, because they should refuse any game that are "scratched to hell and back." :P

You guys think your gamecrazy is bad mine is the worst, There is this clerk at mine that works their everyday like he has nothing better to do, he haseles every kid that walks into the store before 4:00, he thinks all kids/teens go to school until 4:00, I get out at 1:00 when I used to walk in I would be accosted, wheres your schedual?, im calling truincy, blah blah blah, I dont even go to my gamecrazy anymore.

If you really want to make a difference, call or write to his manager and complain. They might not notice one less customer, but if you write and complain, you will definitely get the manager's attention. That is no way to treat customers, and no way to run a business; any manager worth anything would promptly tell that guy to shut the hell up.
