Text is notorious for things like that, Trakan.
Something said in a lighthearted and glib manner can be taken as deathly serious or extremely vile, since tone and such can't be taken into account, and most things are bereft of context.

See, I would think "antagonistic and unempathetic" would be slightly more apt a descriction than "mean in a serious tone".

I don't know maybe it would be great but I just picked up the Franchise Collection set and saw Dark Fury for the first time. I am not a big anime guy but I think that if they don't want to continue with live action they could finish up the few stories on that platform especially with the cult following the movies have.

I'd say the worst part is that you shave your chest.

My Windows Media Player just finished updating the library. I started it when I came home for lunch, and it added 7000 songs. I don't know what's worse, that I am telling you this, or that 7000 songs was just an update.

I am really glad that I have waited to pick it up because I don't think 60 was worth it, 40 sounds better to me. I did the same thing with The Godfather collection, 35 was a hell of a lot better deal.

Speaking of collections I missed out on the Oliver Stone Collection for 40 at Walmart back around my birthday in March, I have been regretting that one everyday.

Paste it into MSpaint.
I tried that. I hit print screen, then pasted it there, but when it would stick in place. Hard to describe but it was reliant on the dvd player. It's like it pasted code instead of the pic.

Imagine a white dot in the middle of the screen over a patterned background. Now imagine scrolling up and down and the pattern moving but the white dot staying in the same place. That's what happened to the screen shot of the dvd window. So if I saved the pic, and went to another spot on the dvd, and opened the same pic file, the pic would be changed to whatever scene was now on the dvd window, and relative to where the window is on the desktop.

Geez...working with kids at a job that starts at nine in the morning isn't going to be easy. I'm definitely not used to waking up right now. Sleeping in the basement with zero natural lighting means that it's incredibly easy to just sleep, and sleep, and sleep...

Well fuck. I guess it's not as easy as I had hoped it was.

MPC? Media Player Classic? Don't have it. And I really don't want to download it. I don't have too much hard drive space left.

Any other ideas?

You don't 'necessarily' need MPC if you're just using it for a screenshot. Use the old media player that comes with WMP. It's in the same folder as your WMP. It's called mplayer2.exe or something like that.

Just make sure that when you need to get rid of the body, cut it up and dispose of each piece in separate bodies of water. Also, if you can get your hands on some, use hydrochloric acid to badly disfigure the pieces so it'll take a long time for anyone to identify it... unless they can get a hold of DNA, in which case, you might be better off finding a pig farm.

I'm going to be working with a company that does science day camps for kids in elementary and middle school. The pay is good ($8/hour, which is more than most of the places I was applying at were offering), I get to play with LEGOs because I'm doing the Robotics camp, and they've got the superb advantage of being the only place that actually offered me a job despite the giant pile of applications I filled out. :D

Most of my friends are either working in jobs they had before (as in high school) or are unable to find anyhting. Even though driving to the camps is going to add up because they're in the next county over, this could be a lot of fun.

We'll see, I guess. I don't actually start until a week from Monday, so I can't complain until then...;)

Sweet. I'm (hopefully) going to ditch my crappy job this fall or winter and move to Boulder and work at a call center with a friend of mine. As one of their dispatchers, I'd make $11 an hour, $4 more than I did as an engineer.

You're preaching to the choir. Lime works wonders too, if you decide to bury them, but you gotta be damn sure to bury them well, and find a way to hide the smell, so dogs don't go digging it up and revealing your little mess. The key is to always dispose of parts, never a body. Parts are easier to hide.

Well, there's always VLC media player. Works on everything I throw at it.

For the smell, simple saran wrap is good and then follow it up by wrapping it in tarp - the same stuff pool covers are made of. If you want to be adventurous, glaze the pieces with brown sugar and ants will gradually do the work for you but at the risk of the smell. That's why I prefer to get rid of them instead of hide.

One of my classic plans, if you know they won't be looking for a body, just a missing person, is to cut a body into 6 pieces, legs, arms, torso, and head. Bury each piece with a couple pounds of lime, at least a mile apart from each other. Do it all over the place. And remember to put a ton of lime on places like hands and faces.

Of course, if you have access to a crematorium, this is all pointless.

Yeah, but crematorium's aren't all that common to access so this only benefits those employees. I gotta say, I did like that pig farm idea from Snatch and I asked a hypothetical to a pig farmer once and he said, yeah, you probably could encourage them to eat human flesh but the chances of that happening are slim since, on a pig farm, they're pretty much well-fed.

I got a backup of chicken little to work. Then I tried a disc of the simpsons series and it still wont work. Then I tried the Lost World and that worked after a minute when I set it to simpledvd. The what now? :-?

Consider the following scenario: you're dating a perfectly boring girl but find her roommate much more alluring in some way. How do you switch from one to the other without completely alienating both of them? Jerry has found himself in this exact situation, dating a woman (Sandy) whose roommate is hotter and finds him much funnier (Laura).

This is the switch:

So the plan, in short: tell her you want to have a threesome with her and her roommate. She's disgusted, tells her roommate, and her roommate pretends to be disgusted but is strangely flattered and intrigued. A subsequent phone call intended to reach the roommate sets up a date, and the original woman wants nothing of it because she is convinced you are a pervert.

The "if you knew what you were doing" seems like the sticking point, though. I'd be willing to bet that most people would find a way to fuck it up unless they'd done plenty of research ahead of time.

Hmmm...Decisions decisions. Do I trade my Xbox in towards a 360 to get 80 bucks for it, but in turn lose 14 games that aren't backwards compatable (granted, only 6 of the ones I'm losing I care about), or do I just wait on a 360, hoping for a price drop which isn't likely to come for awhile...

I'd wait it out. I've never found trading in older games to be worthwhile if there's ANY chance you'll want to play them again...and since there is in this case, I'd just hang on to it.

Then again, of the six that I'd wanna play again, one is DoA:U, which is easily replacable by DoA4. One of the games, Buffy, I have the sequal for, which is compatable. I'm looking at it, and it seems like the ONLY game I'm really gonna miss of those six is Shenmue 2. Who knows what I'll do...

A few minutes later, after I came back in, he walked in my studio and asked me if I heard a thunderstorm outside.
