Which of these shooters is best. I will be playing alone, with siblings, and on Live.

For Live play, probably Battlefield. But overall, I prefer Call of Duty.

It really depends.

I don't like Tom Clancy games or the Ghost Recon series but if I did I bet I would be in love with AW. The graphics are sexy.

PDZ is kind of meh single-player wise but you can do co-op. Online is a blast plus you can bring a guest online (great for friends/siblings). You also play against bots.

CoD2 has an amazing single-player game and the online community is getting a surge due to the new maps but for local multiplayer you only 4 player deathmatch, no co-op.

I haven't played BF2 yet (coming in tommorrow) so I can't comment on it.

Overall, I would say GRAW if you dig the Ghost Recon series and Perfect Dark Zero if you don't.

You can probably find Perfect Dark Zero for cheap now. I got mine for only 25 dollars.

Ok I have played all of these. Here are my thoughts on each.

GRAW - Pretty Good Game. Fun on Live and Alone. I sold after 2 weeks of owning it.

PDZ - Cool Game for the First Xbox 360 game I played. Single Player is ok. Multiplayer is ok but I didn't have the pateince for it. The controls are slow. Feels like your controlling a robot with 300lbs of weight tied to it's feet. Still own since It has no resell value whatsoever.

COD2 - Great Great Great Game. Best FPS for the 360 and Best Since Halo 2 and Goldeneye. Single Player is some of the best ever. Multiplayer is sweet. No complaints on this game at all.

BF2 - Decent Game. Single Player for the first couple of levels are good. I got stuck and tried one level 30 times before I gave up. Can't adjust difficulty on Single. Multiplayer is where this game shines but the players whom play it rub that shine with shit. Only levels that are played over and over and over and over are BridgeToFar and Backstab. I gave up this game after 2 weeks because of this. The Ranking system in the Multiplayer is really cool though.

Hope some of this info helps bro. If you have any more questions post and I'll answer.

IMO, PDZ easily.......

is PDZ the only one that allows you to bring a guest online?

No. I know for a fact that GRAW allows you to bring a guest online, but I'm not sure if it's more than 2.

In my opinion, I would have to say GRAW would be the best shooter right now. The multiplayer is a blast due to the fact that there are various matches to play, and the co-op is pretty fun as well. Single player is *meh* unless you play it on the hardest difficulty setting.

For single player COD2. Multiplayer go with Battlefield.

GRAW is awesome if you like strategized, operational style fighting.
PD:Z is awesome in that each weapon has many different uses and that you can never run out of ways to take an enemy down.
CoD2 is awesome in every perspective: the anticipation, the rush, the hectic feeling, and the all out carnage of warfare.
Battlefield 2 is a very in depth game. You can choose to fly choppers, tanks, light armored vehicles or boats to various places and pick between 5 classes to capture territories.

For multiplayer I would suggest BF2 because of the size of rooms and the numerous options you have each game.

For Single Player, it has to go to CoD2, amazing game. Although GRAW is a close second.

Now that I think about it all of those games have demos up on XBL (GRAW = single/multi, PDZ = single/multi, CoD2 = single and BF2 = multi).

I would suggest just downloading them and trying them out yourself instead of just listening to what we have to say about it.

Yep, I would say either CoD2 or GRAW for sure. Both are great in their own ways. Unless you really don't like war games, then it would leave PDZ. I thought Battlefield was a bit overrated.

PDZ only cause of co-op single player and co-op online and fun bot matches.

PDZ has screen tearing, and the characters movement animations are shitty. The voice acting is poor, and the music is annoying. Level design makes no sense in the parts that I played (which I admit, I played very little), so it all adds up to a very frustrating single player experience. I thought co-op would be fantastic, but the poor level design ruined the fun. Online versus is fun though, and it has an interesting Zombies gametype. Makes me look forward to Halo 3, and the online oppurtunites it has.

GRAW has gourgeous graphics (obviously) and good single player from what I had played, but the online wasn't exciting enough, and the split screen online play felt clunky with a strangely crippled view.

COD2's single player was amazing and exciting with fantastic cinematic moments and the shooting was always fun, and plenty of different weapons that you'll want to use. The multiplayer action was great when it wasn't lagging horribly, but that's been fixed.

Only played the demo of Battlefield and didn't enjoy it. I don't want to play the full game.

Definitely Call of Duty 2. Perfect Dark Zero was garbage -- awful single player and the multiplayer just felt ghetto for a number of reasons. BF2 was decent, but it just doesn't have that layer of polish that could've made it a great game. GRAW... eh, I've never really been a fan of the Ghost Recon games so I didn't care for the demo that much. COD 2 has a fantastic single player mode, however, so that alone makes it worth buying.

I'll put in my 2 cents for Perfect Dark. I understand why the gameplay is dividing FPS fans, but I love it. Just takes some getting used to.

I still rate Far Cry above all the other FPS, but he left it out of the choices..

This many speaks the truth! Decide for yourself through demos :D

But, if you must know what I think...

GRAW > all for multiplayer

CoD2 > all for single player

And I agree with Sporadic, d/l the demos and try them out for yourself.

My pick is Halo 2.

None.

Far Cry beats the hell out of all of 'em, if you don't mind lesser (but still high quality) graphics.

I honestly agree with this. Nothing will top Halo 2 multiplayer until Halo 3 arrives.

Disregarding Halo 2....

GRAW is much better than any of those games listed, as far as overall package.

CoD2 has a fun singleplayer (that I still play), but the online is complete and utter shit, and don't let anyone else try to tell you otherwise. Graphics aside, it's like playing a PC game from six years ago.

I heard that Far Cry Instincts Predator has retarded AI... is that true? I'm considering getting that myself because I loved the original Far Cry on PC... but at the same time, I hate games like Halo where there's nothing other than mindless shooting in generic environments... so would I still like Far Cry on the 360?

The AI in Far Cry is pretty bad. It's a little more than mindless shooting since there is a little stealth and other things added into the mix. But don't expect big puzzles or anything.

GRAW or COD2.

Avoid PDZ at all costs if you ask me. The controls are absolute whack, and yes I've tried the suggest control scheme found on the forum, it still sucks.

COD2 is good for some mindless fun with the multiplayer. Really fun SP as well, though a tad short (beat it around 6-7 hours)

GRAW is better than COD2's SP. Also harder, thus giving you more of a challenge. Frankly, I thought GRAW was more fun in terms of SP. The multi-player is too easy to get good at. Just turn on your damn Night vision and you see everything, then you kill it.

This is pretty tough. But overall I would go with COD2, with a slight edg over GRAW. Only because of the single player.

BattleField 2 probably has the most replay value.

Strangely enough, I enjoyed Halo 1 more than Halo 2.

Halo 1 would be my pick. I enjoyed Far Cry alot too.

Should have made this a poll.

G.R.A.W. for SP
COD2 for MP

Depends on what your interest is, really. You can't touch Halo 2 mp still. GRAW is pretty good all around, if you are patient and tactical. Far Cry is fun, and pretty tough, as well as a decent length (20 hours total, probably). My vote for best 360 campaign is COD2. Never tried the mp after the fix - I sold it first.

Single player COD2 and GRAW, multiplayer without a doubt BF2. BF is CONSTANT action from all sides where GRAW is stealthly strategy rather than Rambo run and gun that I love. You can still play it stealthy if you want though plus you have tanks, trucks, choppers, boats, flags, car bombs and landmines. :D

One of my friends is constantly on Farcry now after having logged 60+ hours in BF2. I've never played it but he seems to enjoy it.

In Predator? Yes. In Instincts (which you have to play through again before reaching Predator)? It depends. The developers actually increased the difficulty in Instincts from the original version in order to provide a bigger challenge for the veteran gamers.

i'd say PDZ.

just realize that most people that put down pdz only played it a little and this is a game that requires some time to really get into it. yes, the story/characters are goofy and terrible, but that really has no effect on the gameplay. and yes, the controls are weird, but the gameplay is weird, and the controls work pretty well...it's less about run and gun and more about taking cover and picking enemies off. dark ops is the best set of modes...they involve purchasing your stuff before each round and only having 1 life...think of it as a less hardcore counter strike. and the weapons are just simply awesome...all of them have at least 2 functions, but some have even more. for instance, the rcp has standard fire mode, enemy vision (it makes threats bright red and friendlies bright green, but the accuracy is decreased for a fair trade off), and the reprogram function which can be used to turn an enemy turret against the person who originally set it or to deactivate an enemies proximity mines. there is a lot of depth to these weapons.

cod2 is pretty fun for a single play through on single player, but the multiplayer is pretty boring in my opinion. every time i've tried to play it, i play a round or 2 and already feel like playing a different game. i might be trading this one in soon.

i've only played the marketplace demos for battlefield and graw...both seemed somewhat fun, but they aren't the kind of games that i would buy.

I say GRAW because of the overall experience. First, the single player might not be quite as action packed as COD2, but it at least has a story to it and that's important to me. So I'd put them about even in the single player area.

As far as multiplayer goes, I'm not into respawn turf battles so Battlefield 2 is ruled out. I like GRAW's last man standing type of games.

Honestly, though I don't even like GRAW because of that though, the co-op is the major selling point and something none of the other games have beside Perfect Dark. Playing co-op with a group of guys is great and with more maps coming soon its sure to get better (if they're cheap).

Call of Duty 2. Amazing game.
