Anyone seen the DS Lite preorder cards at TRU b&m?

the "dudes" had no idea what you were talking about because I believe TRU is not taking pre-orders. those reserve cards just don't pop up the week before anything comes out. (kids DVDs, games and or systems)

I work at TRU and for reserves for systems, we are usually told around a month or more ahead of time so we can promote. I don't remember doing pre-orders for the original DS. There were pre-orders taken though for the Xbox 360 and the Gameboy Micro. Both of which we received reserve cards for.

toys r us already has the lite. i bought one from there this afternoon.

It's all a matter if they break the street date or not. Street date is 6/11, most stores should be receiving the units now-ish.

not that it matters much unless you're also in the DFW area... but it was Hurst, TX. at least, i think it's in hurst... could be North Richland Hills.

ah, TRU. i worked there for 5 years, up until 2003. they used to be cool. i miss those days. might have to stop in tomorrow and check out the DSL situation.
