Most of the single player campaigns that I have in my games are 30 minutes so I wouldn't be able to help you there.

Looking by what you listed, I'm guessing you want some multiplayer action? Some of the multiplayer games I enjoyed that haven't been listed so far are of the Mario sports persuasion. My favorites include:

Super Mario Strikers
Mario Power Tennis

If you and some buddies have GBAs then I'd recommend:

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (There's a fun-ness curve in this game for some people)
Zelda: Four Swords Adventure

Super Mario Sunshine, Resident Evil 4, and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem would top my list

If you are getting a Freeloader, be sure to import a copy of Mr. Driller Drill Land

If you read the whole thread, somebody suggests he buy a Gamecube. Endless agrees and says he will probably buy a Freeloader too so that he can play some imports. If he is buying a Gamecube and a Freeloader, he doesn't have to worry about whether or not it will work on Wii.

If you're planning a budget, then yeah, five or six months can be soon.

If you are not getting a Cube, then it doesn't make much sense to try to get most of these games now. There's nothing wrong with compiling a list, but, for the most part, prices on these games will only come down between now and the release of the Wii, so it'd be better to wait before buying them.

I am contemplating getting rid of my GC now ($50 trade credit at EB/GS this week), and waiting until the Wii is released before I play some of my backlogged GC games. I wouldn't even think about it if I hadn't just gotten a 360 as well as a bunch of DS games, but I figure I've got enough to keep me busy without the Cube. While there are a number of games on my GC backlog that I'd love to start playing (still haven't tried RE4), I don't think there are any must-have/must-play games coming out for the Cube before the Wii release. Aside from the ability to play now, and the assumed inability to use my Gameboy Player with the Wii, I don't really think I'll be missing out on anything (I'm not really interested in imports/freeloader). Anyone care to talk me out of it?

Sure, if that budget is for a large purchase like a home, property, or an automobile.

get Ikaruga now...it'll only get more expensive as it gets harder to find.

So ... what is it you do exactly, where you can buy a house on six months notice?

Give the guy a break: when I was paying my way though school, I had to plan months ahead of time if I was going to drop c. three hundred bones on a system and games.

Regardless of a person's income, unless you work for Nintendo or have some sort of an "in", there aren't very many people who would consider 6 months from now "soon".
