MLB 2K6 Player ratings

This might be kinda old news but I rented the game 2 days ago and I wonder if the guys at 2K sports know anything about baseball. The game is not bad but wow their ratings are ridiculous. Pretty much all top prospects like Liriano, Anthony Reyes, and Delmon Young are rated badly. Also, Cliff Floyd is one of the best guys in the game with an 88 overall rating. I'm sorry but he is not 8pts better than Scott Rolen. Also, coming from a cardinal fan Mark Mulder is not a 91 overall.

I was just curious if anyone else agreed with me on the ratings. It really takes a lot of the realism out of the game if you ask me.

Well you gotta remember that they made this game before this season started, so they were going by last year's stats. I do remember that Cliff Floyd, by the end of the year, had been on a nice streak.

Yeah, the stats are a bit off...at least you can edit them to your liking I suppose. I tweaked a few players on my Tigers team....positive and negative.
