most likely no go on the 90day warranty. I worked for Linksys and we didnt consider ebay purchases valid for warranty. Its like buying from a garage sale, technically. You could however buy the extended warranty as they dont ask you for receipt. I would definately call 1-800-4MYXBOX for clarification though.

If it was recently purchased and you have the receipt (from the original store it was purchased from), then you may have a 90 day warranty or something. Otherwise, probably not.

To answer your question. There is little to zero chance you will have a warranty. It will be up to the person who is selling the machine and if they are providing a warranty or not.

I don't see why MS wouldn't sell you an extended warranty, when I bought mine abouth a month ago they didn't ask when or where I purchased it from, all they needed was the serial number.

I was able to get an extended warranty on saturday. You might have a problem if the system has already been registered. But he did ask me when I bought it but I think he was just making small talk while the computer was processing information, he asked me if I got it 3 months ago and I just told him about a month ago (which would have been past the 10 days that they require for you to be able to get the extended warranty but he didn't care).

Exactly, I bought mine late. Just tell them I purchased it from CC.com and it took a few days to ship.
