I have about 3.5-4 hours into this game and have a question:

Is it worth going through 100% of the castle to find every last piece of crap? This game has been quite enjoyable so far, but I can see how it will get repetitive. I think I'd be happy beating it without getting all the stuff if I don't miss too much. Is it really hard to beat if you don't find all of the crap? (HP increases, Accessories, etc.)

TRying for 100% will probably make you hate the game, IMO. You'd end up endlessly walking through the same long halls over and over. I explored everywhere but didn't backtrack too much and I enjoyed the game. I don't remember how much of it I got, though.

Minor spoiler:

I sure as hell didn't try to find and beat that last big secret boss.
