Thought I would start up a thread on this game...I had never really gotten into the two previous installments on PS2/Xbox...But after playing the demo, I had to buy this...At full price, no less...Something, like most of us, that I rarely do...WOW...That's all I can say about this game...Graphically, it is definately next gen to a t...The layout of the boards are original, and a breath of fresh air for a gamer like me...Some of the kills are sweet, if you haven't tried the demo yet, you need to...Production values overall on this game are top notch...I can't recommend this enough, even at $60, I think it's a definate must buy

I'll let you know my thoughts on it once I get it from Gamefly. I should either get it today or tomorrow. I also played the demo and thought it was awesome. Plus, I am a hardcore Hitman series fan.

i just can't get pas tthe fact that you have to start over from the beginning for each mission if you die. Also, I suck because in the very beginning I throw the stupid coin and nothing happens. Those two potty-mouthed thugs just shoot me and I die. If I do manage to "distract" them they come to the door and see me anyway.

Click/Hold the left thumbstick, throw the coin out the window to your right and hit that metal target. Once you do that you they should walk over to the metal thing. This is your change to either sneak past them or choke the shit out of them.

Thanks. I figured you had to throw the thing out the open window but I couldn't figure out how...

It also took me forever to figure out how and where to throw it. They really didn't explain it well at all.

I thought the demo's graphics were so-so, not very next gen. There's a comparison video up on gametrailers.com, and there doesn't seem to be much difference.
Anyway, I also have this game coming in the mail from Gamefly, so I'll give it a try. I really liked Hitman 2, but just couldn't get into Contracts.

That's mostly because they showed CG instead of in-game footage.. I still can't believe they did that.
I've loved Hitman from the very beginning and have paid full price for each one.. I may pay full price for this on the 360.. not sure yet. It's getting mixed reviews, I may give it a rent. Contracts was okay, Hitman 2 was pretty good, but the first one on PC was amazing.

This game is fucking awesome. It's taking quite a long time for me to finish because I just can't finish a stage without getting Silent Assassin ranking.

This game is the best Hitman yet. So many options on taking out the targets, and I like the various missions. My only gripes are I wish he could carry bodies instead of slowly dragging them, and there are some minor clipping issues.

You can save in the middle of the level...# of saves depends on the difficulty...So you don't have to start over every time

I enjoyed the demo alot. Definitely love the Hitman character.
The First Person mode is ugly though. Doesn't look next gen at all.

I have this on the original XBOX and I can only imagine how much better it is on the 360. It looks alot like SC:CT and it plays better than the first two games. There are so many ways to complete each mission and I love reading in the papers how much of a badass I was in the mission.

The demo is fun stuff, I just don't know if I could pay full price for this.
I don't have time to post a mini-review, but this game is the shit. The dark humor is great.

Has anyone had any problems with the game crashing when you use the knife around a body that is on the floor?

OK, I finally finished the demo... meh, I'm going to pass on the game. The controls are confusing and unresponsive and there is way too much clipping and stupid AI. I went up behind the guy taking a leak and was practically fingering his ass and he didn't even notice I was there...

Alright so I got the game from Gamefly yesterday and have been playing it since. This game is absolutely sweet if you are a fan of the other ones you must get this. And also is it just me or does anybody else think this game is a lot harder than the past ones. I mean in the old ones you could run through levels killing everyone and not die. On this one you would be lucky to not die twice trying to do it the right way. And that is with it on normal difficulty. Well back to playing.

Cotracts was kind of glitchy, but was still fun as hell.

I finally got around to renting this and this game is great! The demo was ok but the actual game is good times. I'm at the wedding stage now and I gotta play it over since i went gunning to the exit only to find the escape boat had no keys...... lol
If you haven't played it yet it's well worth renting at least!

Ignore javeryh, he just sucks at games in general. The controls aren't unresponsive, i've seen very few clipping issues and the AI is great.
Requiem is amazing
