View Full Version : Trouble with my play and charge kit?

Well I bought one of these back in Jan or Feb (either way its been over 90 days so I think its out of warranty). I hadn't played 360 in about a month and today I tried using my Wireless controller and it keeps flashing around the X in the middle (low battery) so I hooked up the Play and Charge kit to it. The light on the charger doesn't even light up. I've only used this about 3 times and it's ALREADY dead? I tried plugging it into the USB of the 360 and my computer and neither will give it a charge. Do you think Microsoft will fix this or am I just doing something wrong?

Just covering the bases, but are you sure the battery in the controller is the one that came with the pack, and not the AA battery pack? I had this issue once and I finally realized I was trying to charge regular duracels.

Mine did that too, except they were brand new. I exchanged it for another one and that didn't work either so I returned that and gave up. This was around launch, so I should probably give it another try.

Even when I first got it, it only gave a moderate charge (4 hours or so). It probably was defective from the start and now it just completely died. I don't know If i should even bother calling M$ because I know I lost the receipt for the damn thing. :(

Just buy another one, and then return the defective one with that receipt and packaging.
