give negative feedback for the person that "bought" my item or just wait a couple more days

i sold the item to the user on june 3rd 06, got the "will send money shortly via whatever" thing that monday(5th)

i have not received the money and the buyer has not replied to ANY of my messages

so should i wait a little longer or just give negative feedback and relist the item

I'd say hold out a little longer - I forget but according ot eBay policy, he has 14 days or some stupid shit like that no matter what your terms are.

come Friday with no word and no money order in the mail, I say file a NPB and relist.

Have you gone through eBay's NPB process? If not I wouldn't leave neg FB until you complete that. I'd start that ASAP as it takes at least 7 days to run it's course. The formal notice from eBay could give the deadbeat a kick in the pants to send the payment, so it's definitely worth a shot. That is unless it's something that could drop in value in 7 days.

I don't leave neg FB for NPBs to avoid retaliatory negs on my seller's account, but that's me.
