Is there a Way to get to the "main menu" of the DS when Playing a Game?

you know when you turn on the DS, it goes to the little "home base" where you can choose to use pictochat, or change the time, or play a gba game, or play a ds game?

yea...well, let's say i'm up for some mario kart, so i play that...then i want to go back to the "home base" of the DS again; is there a way to get back to it without haveing to restart the actual DS system?

i also have a psp, and whenever your in a game, you can push the "home" button on the psp and a popup will appear asking if you want to end the game, and that was how you could get back to the home screen...can you do that with the DS?

No you can't. The only way to go back is by resetting and turning the system back on. I wish they would of included a home button like the psp but I can live with it.

on a similar note, for Trauma Center, is there a way to get back to the main menu?

it seems like in the story mode, it just keeps going and going and going with no option to "return to menu" or anything...do you just have to power it off?

It has been a while since I played Trauma center but I believe that is the only way to go back to the main menu.

curse the inconveniency...at least it's a good enough game that you'll want to pass a few missions before going on to another game :)
