Hmmm.....

The publisher of the game has their own store and they have it.

http://www.atlus.com/cgi-bin/shop

Not a deal but no one else seems to have it in stock.

Very odd though. They were all talking about rare games in a thread called, "Rare DS games" and someone pointed out that Trauma Center was, in fact, not rare. Then that person linked to all the places that had it in stock. However, this game seems to have vanished since the release of the DS lite.

Thank you Valor and Dracula for your helpful suggestions!

I just found it at Toys R Us @ Times Square NYC for $32.99 and jumped on it. If it wasn't there I would have definitely purchased it directly from Atlus.

My Toys R Us had a copy of this yesterday as well.

Best Buy should have this as well. There are no rare DS games.

This game is not rare at all. Well, maybe on Mars, but certainly not on Planet Earth.

Its one of the most common DS games really.

Many places/chains don't carry the title... it's not rare, but it's not "one of the most common", either.

I just heard from Tomm Hulett that TC will be restocked in about a month from now.

Wow, DIRECTLY from Tomm?!?!? I mean some of us only dream of speaking to him during our lifetimes.

Actually it was only through AIM. I did know him from back when he worked at the Mission Viejo EB though. Cool guy.

I bought mine at Toys R Us yesterday. Came to $24.99 with the $5 off coupon in the deals thread.

Who's Tomm Hullet? Who's Tomm Hullett?! You mean, you don't know who Tomm Hullett is? Well, neither did I until I Googled him. Apparently, he's a Localization Producer at Atlus.

Actually he's built up quite the reputation for himself amongst Atlus fans, most recently for his work on Steambot Chronicles. He also works with the VA talent, recruiting both Spike Spencer (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and Wendee Lee (Cowboy Bebop) for TC. So yeah, I was mistaken there was a fan or two here.

Anyways, here's his personal 1up page: konami_whore.1up.com.
