The game is $20 new for the Xbox and PS2, but I'm still seeing it for $30 for the GameCube.
I'm actually willing to pay that price, but something tells me that if I look around, I might be able to find the Cube version for that magical, $10 cheaper price.
Anyone have any suggestions? :D
I'm hoping to get it for $10. I have the PS2 version and have played it all the way through. But I have the GC version of II preordered and want to pick up the GC version of the original and have the kids play through that (so we have all the old characters unlocked for the new game). I can then trade in the PS2 one. I keep finding deals on the PS2/Xbox ones (first 1 cent when CC had that Buy 2 Get 1 free sale where cheap games qualified as the 2, then $9.99 when they had them straight up on sale). If the MSRP would finally drop to $20, and then CC would put it on sale for $9.99 I would be all over it. Every CC I go to has multiple copies, and not much else in the GC section. There's the very slightest chance this will be part of the $8.96 drops at CC - supposedly GC games will be added soon (to all the PS2 ones currently on sale). Somehow I doubt they will put Lego Star Wars into that group, but it is possible with the newer one coming out that they will look at this as an older title to get cleared out.
