So who Plans on getting a Black Ds Lite ?

Its going to be priced at 149.99 euro = 175ish us dollars.
Thats a pretty big price difference to me for the same system in a different color.

With the release happening next week (june 23rd) i was wondering who else is considering picking one up?

I happen to be in germany so i should be easily able to get one .

Unless you're thinking about importing one, that shouldn't be an issue since that's the price for Lites over the pond. I'll assume you are since NoA probably won't release the black since they suck ass so much.

I might get the black one. While the black looks amazing, it'll show those nasty fingerprints like all hell.

That's what latex gloves are for. Won't smudge chassis or screen!

I would never trade my white lite for another color. It hides fingerprints much better.

Although I thought I wouldn't be a fan of white...the DS lite looks really sweet. Unlike my PSP it actually hides the fingerprints a lot more. Not worth the extra $50 IMO.

The black is nice, but I'm satisfied with my navy one. I was happy I managed to find a navy and didn't get stuck with a white or powder blue.

I actually prefer the white. With the glossy plastic, black (and other dark colors) will just show finger prints and smudges all the time and look dirty and crappy just like the PSP.

When my black regular DS wears down or something I'll definetly be getting one. I love lite's but I dislike the iPod look.

I'm thinking about it. The finger prints are going to grate on me, but the black is so sexy. Probably only once/if it comes out over here. Right now I'm not ready to pay import prices just to get it in black.

The US Lite is very slick. It's very "Ipod", but the color has grown on me--I'm glad I got it, even though I'm sure there'll be a bunch of other colors released that I'll end up liking just as much.
