Anyone have any suggestions on games for the Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis that play similar to Zelda Link to The Past?
I have been told Crusader of Centy and Beyond Oasis both for the Genesis.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Not a snes or genesis game, but imo Alundra for the PSOne is the best LttP clone I've ever played.

Really? I just checked screens on that.. I may pick it up, I see it all the time.. it looks a lot like Illusion of Gaia, which I LOVE.
Shining Wisdom, Saturn
Crusader of Centy, Genesis
Beyond Oasis, Genesis
Legend of Oasis, Saturn
Illusion of Gaia, SNES
Alundra 1, PSX
Conker's Pocket Tales, GBC
Landstalker, Genesis
Secret of Mana, SNES
Secret of Evermore, SNES
Ys: The Ark of Napishtim, PS2
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, PSX
Beyond Good and Evil, PS2/Xbox/GCN
Crystalis, NES
That list should keep you busy for some time, and yes I know I added non SNES and Genesis games.

Spoo has a pretty good list, although I would disagree on a couple of those being similar to LTTP. Since you asked for SNES/Genesis, the only one I can think of offhand that wasn't already mentioned is the superb SoulBlazer for SNES. If you haven't played it, definitely go for it, better than LTTP IMO.

I think Breath of Fire for the SNES reminded me a bit of LttP, but i might have it confused with another game

Breath of Fire is turn-based, so it's completely different.

Terrenigma. You can get it PAL if you have a converter or, you know, you could...."Ahrrr, me hearties!"

Yeah when i said like Link To The Past i meant more action oriented. Definitely not anything turn based
