Apparently the new 'Tenchu: Dark Secret' is a GameStop exclusive title according to the new EBGames/GameStop magazine currently in stores. This is the first time I have heard about this (Did a search, no info). Anyone going to pre-order this just to make sure they get one?

Apparently the new Tenchu game is a steaming pile of shit, so it can stay Gamestop exclusive.
I think we learn our lesson with Spikeout: Battle Street

Is there one (besides the first and second one, maybe) that isn't?

QFT - although the commercial was pretty funny.
Anyone else remember the crazy value that the Xbox Volleyball game was selling for on eBay on news it would be limited? That was some sillyness, let me tell you what!

Meh, Electroplankton was originally a Nintendo Online/some other online retailer exclusive, and we all saw where that went. Not that I'm implying this will go other places, infact, I take back my last sentence.

If those people want to throw down $30 (or hell, GS might even charge $35 or $40 because they can) on a shitty game, just because it's "rare", they can go ahead... I'll throw that $30 towards a DS game I'll actually enjoy playing.
I mean, the game is abysmal from what I've heard. The fact that they are making it exclusive to one company means they have to artifically create demand for this game to get sales, rather then sell it based on things like gameplay and fun.

"Dark Secret", I love the irony.
I was gonna get this game (from play-asia) despite the bad reviews scores but if fans of Tenchu are saying it's nothing like Tenchu and plays like a low budget cellphone game, then I'll just wait for a price drop.

this is worse than that sonic pinball game for GBA. At least you might of found that at game stop and Target. But ah well, it didn't look intresting anyway

You sure about that? Why would Nintendo include it in their presskit if it was only available to one retailer?

The "Dark Secret" is that this game sucks.

I'm wouldn't be sure that it is exclusive to GS by choice. Its just that no other retailers are willing to sell it knowing its so bad and will sell terribly.
Ill be holding out for

That's a shame, not only do I not really like Gamestop, but the popular opinion is that this game is going to suck, which is a shame because a DS version of Tenchu seemed like it had potential to be really good and they failed.

true... i was just there tonight and saw it...
also saw 2 guys walk over to it, pick it up and get all excited... "whoa, it's wifi too? dude, we have to get this!" and they took both copies. i'd have mocked them there, but they could have easily pounded me through the floor... thus i mock anonymously on a message board. go me.
