Hollywood Needs Your Help! Dead Or Alive Contest

By now you’ve all probably seen the pictures and videos of the upcoming blockbuster hit “Dead Or Alive”. While I think we can all appreciate the fine piece of cinema they have been working feverishly over, there’s still a nagging feeling this film still may not get the Academy recognition the source material so richly deserves. This is where I think CAG can help.

Sure, we all love Jaime Pressly, (heck she’s married to the Rubberband Man from those Office Max commercials right?), but maybe the role of Tina would be better suited in the hands of a more accomplished actress, like Jenny McCarthy. Most likely they couldn't get Jenny signed on due to her overwhelming "Game With Fame" schedule. Regardless, there are many other concerns I’m sure we all have; take Kevin Nash for example. Will he be able to push his thespian abilities to the limits and convincingly delve into the role of a professional wrestler? And a quick glance at the cast glaringly shows the oversight of one Michelle Rodriguez (what video game movie can be taken seriously without her?).

Obviously, there are some roles in need of some tweaking and here’s your chance to give this epic drama the cast it deserves. In this exciting contest you take on the role of Casting Director and be an integral part in the making of the blockbuster, Oscar dominating, tour de force that is Dead Or Alive!

Contest Rules:

Give us your submissions on who you think would be best suited to play the characters in the Dead or Alive movie. Be creative, be serious, be funny, be obscure, be mainstream, but above all remember, only you can make this the best movie ever. Feel free to provide compelling arguments for your cast members in the form of text, images, or media. Oh, and in order to be eligible for the prizes, please choose new actors for at least 5 of the characters.

One winner will be selected based upon how much I like your cast selections. The winner will be announced on Monday, July 17th 2006.

Tina- Trish Startus. Why not get someone to do the role that plays a fighter every day. Plus she's in the WWE so her acting skills are probably pretty good.

Zack- Chris Tucker. It would funny as hell seeing Chris Tucker in a green Faux Hawk. He also had some fighting experience form the rush hour series.

Helena- Scarlett Johansen. Nice young upcoming actress. This role would really boost her career. (not that her career is bad now anyways.)

Bayman- Jean Claude Van Dam. His reserection!!!!

Leon- Chuck Norris. make him shave and give him a turban, he would fit the role perfectly. Plus who doesn't want to see Chuck Norris vs. Jean claude

Christie- Cameron Diaz. They have the same body type, and she was an EX- Charlies Angel. Or my second Choice would be the musician Pink. She is a bad ass chick that could fill that role.

Bass- How can you not like the pick of Hulk Hogan, Bass is really just a Hulk Hogan rip off. Kevin Nash is a good choice but he is getting old, and showing it unlike Hogan.

Don't know any good japanese actors outside chan and Li, so Those are my picks.

I refuse to participate in this contest for the simple reason that after watching that trailer I am convinced that Dead Or Alive will be the worst movie ever made. Not just worst video game movie (not that that's not an accomplishment all in its own) but the worst movie ever made period.
