Unless my eyes deceive me, it says August 15th. Only a few were delayed until November, but that's been known for a while.

We got the samsung Blu-ray players at work today. Hooked them up to the 60" SXRD and played house of flying daggers over and over. Granted that TV doesn't support true 1080p, just upconverts to it. Mitsu has a DLP coming out soon that will display and accept 1080p over HDMI. So for right now unless you have a true 1080p HDTV (very expensive), it looks identical to HD-DVD since most sets currently just upconvert to it.

Anyone who calls it blue-ray, and not blu-ray, has no creditability to me, because a trademark cannot have a color in its name, spelled the same as a color; therefore, it is blu.

People are just saying that you didn't read the article correctly. It does not say that Blu-ray players are delayed til November. They are actually out as we speak.

thank you HumanSnatcher, I really did not know it was blu-ray.
Im thinking that when i do pick up my Blu-Ray, its going to be the samsung.

They have been for sale since Sunday. We hooked them up to Samsung's new 1080p 40" LCD, and color me unimpressed. Ill be sticking with my upconvert oppo.
