sounds like you put the wrong thing on your screen. You put the backing on the screen not the protector.

what backing? doesnt it come with the protectors for both the TOP AND BOTTOM screen?

They use a clear backing for those things? Recipe for confusion. Just print 'HORI' all over it in tiny letters or something.

Yes, but the protectors for each screen are sandwiched between two plastic sheets so they don't get dirty before you apply them.

ahh help HORI SCREEN PROTECTOR PROBLEM
which goes on top? which goes on bottom?

I think you made a mistake somewhere in there.

I'd suggest rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip - just get it moist not sopping wet. It should cut through the residue.

My Hori DS lite protector is coming this week; is anyone else having this problem?

***UPDATE***
Just got my Hori DS lite protector drom Play-Asia, installed it no problems. It helped that I had previously installed Horis on my Phat DS. The key is making sure there's absolutely no dust on your screen.

As for residue...I don't know what the hell the OP did, there's no adhesive/sticky stuff to be found.

I ordered my DS Lite screen protector 10 days ago and it still hasn't arrived. I've never imported anything before; is this normal?

I had to readjust the screen protector on the bottom. I used some sealing tape to lift it up and did not expereience any residue.

This is why the Opera web browser for the DS is a bad idea.

Warm water and patience.

I'm not 100% positive but I feel chemicals do more harm than good when it comes to cleaning the DS screen. I think anything but water would damage the protective coating on the touch screen.

Are screen protectors really even necessary? I mean, maybe for peace of mind, but I also heard somewhere that they could damage the touch screen by putting too much weight on it... Also, I've been using my DS without any screen protectors since November or October and the two screens are completely fine.

It really depends on quite a few factors, who you ordered it from, what type of shipping method was used, and where you live. Hope that helps. Try emailing wherever you ordered it from and asking.

Import? Did you get it from PlayAsia? They ship from overseas, so if you picked the cheapest shipping it might even take as long as three weeks to arrive.

I don't think its residue Furashu. Just stick the protector back on and see if its still noticable. Upon removing the first time to readjust, I too noticed what looked like mist on my screen, but where there had been bubbles and the screen hadn't touched, there were not...it wasn't sticky, but it wouldn't come off...so I just reapplied the protector and its fine now...must be something with the silicone

I ordered my copy of gyakuten saiban from PlayAsia, and I live in Canada, got in within a week and a half, but it all depends on customs
