is it better than Tricky?
I rented tricky like 5 times but never bought it

In many ways it is better than Tricky, but I still like Tricky more for some reason.
The PS2 version is also way better than the X-Box version because of the superior controls.

Wow - CRAZY price on this game! I thought it was fun and barely scratched the surface of the size of the game. Lots of hours of gameplay - A steal at $15.

Is there much difference between the Xbox/PS2 version (aside from control)? Graphics? Sound? Etc?

I'm pretty sure the ps2 one is online, and the xbox one isn't.

yep, and that's the reason I'll just hold out for the ps2 ver.
I wish they would drop their POed prices at the same time as the new game instead of lagging by several days.

If I don't care about Online, is there any other reason to get the PS2 over the Xbox rev? I played SSTricky on the Xbox, the control isn't bad at all...

Does EB pricematch their own website?

Nope. Xbox version is better if you don't care about online.

Generally, the rule of thumb is that the Xbox version is the better one to purchase for third party software. My Xbox library, for that reason, is littered with the 3rd party games like Soul Calibur, 007 EON, etc.
I'll probably pick this version up, too.
