I wouldn't call it a vampire movie nor is this the best deal. You should add for rewards members only to the title.

Best Buy also has a decent deal this week where you can get both Nightwatch and The Hills Have Eyes (06) Director's cut for $24 total.

This movie struck me as a tad overrated. It got most of the accolades it did because it was A) Russian and B) Cheaply made. Given the budget, the quality of the special effects are astounding, and it has a very engaging visual style (I love the way they used subtitle effects, as well as the animated sequence) but the story itself is an overwrought mess.
Worse, the film was made with two sequels built in, so there's no resolution at the end. The remaining two chapters are being co-produced by an American film studio and will be in English, which will only strip the film of some of its mystique and charm.

Incorrect, the sequel, Day Watch, is in fact in Russian. I've got the bootleg of it. The third movie will be in English. Though the second film has resolution at the end of it so I'm not sure what they're doing in the third film.
The movie being in Russian isn't what appeals to me, I like the fact that it's an interesting story that includes vampires but isn't centered primarily around action scequences. Not that I think it's teh greatest movie evar!!1!, but compared to a lot of other recent vampire movies here in the US (like Bloodrayne and Underworld 2) it's refreshing.

Thank you for the fix, and I must say its not a bad movie, but by the end I did get a little bored. It did have some cool ideas in the plot.

Looking at the package in-store, it looks like it might be a double-sided disc. Can anyone confirm this? I've had horrible experiences with double-sided discs in the past.

Ah, my bad. You are correct.
And don't get me wrong. It is a worthwhile flick. Just didn't think it was quite as amazing as I had been led to believe before seeing it.
