Sounds good....but Ive played the original so much I would have no interest in buying it again for $30.

Damn them, why can't they just put every sonic game into one cart? Im sure theres room for at least all of the genesis games.

Actually it's $20. I have a Nomad so I definatly won't be buying it.

They didn't with Mario (despite already having them all on one cartridge on SNES), why would they with Sonic?

Cool idea but $20 is to much. $10 maybe.

Because thats Nintendo, I expect that from them, But Sega has at least in the past released complilations that were packed with sonic stuff. I was hoping they could at least carry that over the the hand helds.

Super Mario Allstars was a compilation of past games, but they didn't carry it over to handhelds. I don't see a big difference.

Yeah they should have made a 3-pack or more like:
Sonic 1, Sonic 3D Blast, and Robotniks Mean Bean Machine with all the artwork extras unlockables on one cart.
Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic Spinball on one cart with the option to lock-on the games by selecting them on a menu or something.
Then I would buy these games again despite having them on the Genesis for less than 30 bucks. :)

It says it's a special edition, maybe it'll have some new levels?

Because they make more money selling games separately on the handheld market. That's the only reason why they don't do compilations. You can't get away with doing that on consoles, though.

It comes with the spin dash option that was added into Sonic Jam, but isn't on the Mega Collection's at all... I think for $15 after GGC I will pick it up.
Depends what else they decide to throw onto it.
I have a feeling Sega might be testing the waters with this one, as well... but wow, GBA games all the way to November is more newsworthy then Sonic, I think.

They really need to bring over Sonic CD, the best Sonic game ever IMO.

With the added spin dash option, I would definitely reconsider paying $15-20 since I never got to play Sonic Jam's Sonic 1 on the Saturn only had it on the Game.com and that didn't even have it! :(

Why do I have to be such a sucker for this crap? I'll buy it on GBA, and then probably in 6 months I'll be buying it again on the Wii. Not to mention the other versions I already have (Genesis, Gamecube Mega Collection)...
Oh well here's hoping it looks great on the DSLite

I always wondered how it was. I never had the money to buy one when it came out...
