Saw this on another forum, forgot about it, remembered it, and realized no one's mentioned it here (that I've seen, anyway.)

AnimEigo's having a major clearance on a bunch of their titles- Take special note of KOR, becuase it's going out-of-print with this sale. Also read the large paragraph under the sale listings for updates and a special offer or two.

For those who don't know, Kimagure Orange Road is one of those series that if you got into anime in the early 90s you'd know. It's quite a bit like Ranma, Tenchi, or any other 80s harem show. The twist is that main character Kyosuke is pyschic, and well, it causes him more trouble then it's worth. It's cute, funny, and a tad dated. It's a great show and it's a shame that it's going out of print. I remember petitioning to get this show out in laser disc waaaaaay back in the day.

So just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, by "trap sheets" in the full KOR set they mean the dvd case inserts, right? So if I get empty cases, I can put everything together & have them as if they came in the cases?

Just want to make sure - my wife and I saw 8 or so episodes fansubbed of this a long time ago, and she told me she's definitely interesting in picking up the full set on dvd.

Those were gone when I found out about this, or I would've bought one too.

I think so.

Just make sure you pay the extra two bucks for the ones with the inserts. Otherwise, yeah. It's all of the DVDs shipped in paper holders for protection.

Ok, I ordered the $62 set that includes trap sheets (inserts, hopefully) and added on the 2 OAV disks & the movie disk. Total came to $79, w/ free shipping - not too shabby. Thanks OP! :)

Mine came in yesterday and in case anyone else was still wondering, yes, the trap sheets are the inserts. Everything looks great - I went ahead & ordered some empty dvd cases from www.shop4tech.com - 25 cases for $10, shipped. So once those come in I should be all set!

Aren't these the same assholes who RUINED the MKR dub with their shitty voices instead of hiring the WD employees?
edit: N/m it's by a company called Animeworks.

How's Zatoichi with the Japanese subs and action btw?

Thanks for the heads up on this deal! I picked up KOR with the inserts as well as the Urusei Yatsura OVA collection. So tempting to finish off my UY set as well but I still need 25 more discs. Any idea how long this sale is going on?

I think I might pick up the KOR TV series and OVAs. Thanks for the tip.
