grab one!
Also, on top of this buy 3 HD-DVD discs from amazon using code HDDISC10 and get an additional 10% off your current and all future HD-DVD orders for the next year!
This title is an HD-DVD only title so you need an HD-DVD player like the Toshiba HD-A1, Toshiba HD-D1, or RCA HDV5000 to play it.
OR just pick it up cheap on DVD. That thing everyone has and still looks great.
Do you need to see more freckles on matts face?
None the less.... good deal? 4 people who have a HD dvd player get on this!

You say that until you have one, and see just how good the picture quality is better. You can say the same thing for game systems as well, but everyone gets the new one, and the mass's said the same thing going from VHS to DVD
I jumped on this deal, as I was going to pick it up today anyway

An upconverting DVD player just bicubically resamples the original image (480 vertical pixels) on-the-fly, while HD-DVD has 1080 pixels natively. The upconversion is processing the video file to GUESS what the missing information (the missing pixels) would be, where-as HD-DVD is mastered in 1080 from the source so it's going to have more detail and be much more true to colors.

I don't believe in upconverting whatsoever. It's only going to look as good as the digital source can offer. That being said, HD Dvd Players are awesome for HD DVD's, but I'm going to wait until it's standard and in the meantime I'm racking up my dvd collection with all of these $5 purchases.

Do upconversion with the toshiba HD-DVD player and you will see how good upconversion can be
