played it today without any problems. Came back after work and the dvds will no longer spin.. Lucky i have the 2 year replacement at Best buy.

Took it back and they said this is common the in SLIM ps2 models. I never knew it. Didnt cost a penny to get a new system and another 2 year warrenty. Glad i had that 2 year warrenty cause i would been out 130 bucks

Hmm... I've never heard of that before, I guess the disc motor in the SLIM PS2 is teh weak sauce?

My slim Ps2 also crapped out on me recently a little after a year as well. I went to Gamecrazy and bought me a fat PS2 instead with a 2 year warranty for $120.
