Is there ANY memory card on PS2 that is bigger than 8 MBs that is also RELIABLE? Go to amazon and look at all of the customer reviews for the Intec memory card products that are more than 8 MBs. They are awful. A friend and I had the experience of our 64 MB cards from the same company just one day up and corrupting all of our data on both our memory cards within just a few days of each other. I have 4 PS2 memory cards now that are almost full and with a bunch of PS2 games, it is annoying to have to switch out a memory card 3 or 4 times to get to the right save. Thanks to the vast majority of PS2 games that don't even recognize any memory cards on the multi-tap and some that don't even recognize a second memory slot, this is just annoying. Is there any memory card on PS2 that is bigger than 8 MBs and will also, oh, I dunno, not screw up all my data?

And, I didn't notice until I got my HDTV as of late that you can see some vertical lines of sorts on most PS2 games. I have my Xbox and PS2 on the same component cable and the Xbox looks great. If I play one of the like 10 games on PS2 that actually even support 480p, they look great, too. It's just in standard definition that I notice any kind of vertical line things on PS2. So, this is just how it is with standard definition games on PS2, right? Man, they look fugly compared to high def.

Stick with the first party stuff when it comes to saves. Stick a label on the card and write down what's on the card so you know what you're looking for.

Yes, the AR route is good. Other than that, stick with 1st party. I've had 3rd party... and was pissed when my data became corrupt:bomb:

Actually, there are a few 3rd party cards that are good, but they are 8MB as well. It's the Nyko and surprisingly enough, madcats memory cards. Both are licensed by Sony so it's like buying 1st party.

AR would be more trouble than multiple memory cards.

I use Codebreaker and my thumbdrive so I can back them up to my PC
