Me and a friend of mine made it through the first level helping each other out. He took control and closed his eyes, and I told him what was coming up.

as much as I have played that first level, that is probably possible.

No, I think it is the GBP. Notice how it doesn't fill the whole screen, plus the options thing in the upper-right corner.

Are you telling me that if a giant mushroom comes after you, you should just run into it? That seems ridiculous!

He died at the same spot twice

I swear, I didn't do that badly when I first played the game when I was 3 years old.

They could have at least given him an instruction manual.

I call bullshit - how can you not know the mushrooom makes you bigger? My 55 year old parents have never played SMB either but they probably at least know that much. I mean they do live on planet Earth.

True, but then we wouldn't have gotten the hilariousness that ensued.

EDIT: After watching that I had to wash my eyes out with this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=0QsG0D-MLp4&search=Super%20Mario%20Bros%20race)

Not really a big deal when I remember playing games and I was like dang playing the same level over and over again like a fool only to realize the ending was just a tune that plays over and over and the gameplay was a waste or rip-off

That is pretty funny seeing how he ran from the Super Mushroom

Actually, I think it's Gameboy Player, judging by the border and the little thing in the upper right-hand corner (I think it's the little button that says "Z: Options" or whatever it is).

Anyway, pretty funny. They managed to find the one person on earth who hasn't played Super Mario Bros.

Did anyone else cringe when he missed the first mushroom? It went against everything I've ever known to be right since I was like two.
