I'm guessing maybe you already know (?) but 7 Eleven gives out free 7.11 ounce slurpees on July 11 (7/11). I can't rmemeber where I heard this, but its listed in different newspapers and places.

US/Canada only.

OP, thanks for posting this for those who are unaware. Most fans of the slurpee probably already knew this as you eluded too. Myself I knew in mid May and there is not a 7-Eleven within 150 miles. Last year when I went to visit my hometown I missed out on this because I left on July 6th and of course my wife informs me of it when we get back to TN:-P

... curses. That's a work day.
I'm still gonna take advantage of this, but if I didn't have work, that day would be a slurpee-laden suger blur.

Im not sure how I am supposed to address your question, but the 7-11's that I have been to in LI arn't apart of gas station (but I know what you are talking about) but rather just their own stores.

They do this every year. Most 7-11 if they still have some of the little cups left over, they just keep them out till they're gone. After all, they can't make any money off of it, so what would it hurt.

The problem here is this:

If I were to go to 3 of the 7-11s within driving distance, I would get approximately 21.33 oz of Slurpee tastiness.

This would be free, if you don't count the approximate 4-5 dollars in gas I would be using.

If I went to the nearest 7-11, a few miles from my house, I'd use less than a dollar in gas, and get my regular 40 oz Slurpee, which I have no problem finishing, for $1.59, plus tax.

Great deal.

Logic would suggest only doing this if you are going to be at 7/11 anyway, or passing one on the way home. Thanks OP

If I don't have work that day, I'll probably be chillin' at a friends house that day. We usually take the fifteen minute walk to 7-11 to pick up a couple bottles of Bawls, but a few extra free Slurpees wouldn't hurt.

Thanks, OP!

Hooray for free slurpee! The problem is, all the 7/11s here are 3-5 bus rides from my house.

Its honestly not worth it to go there just for it. I mean its 7.11 oz. You can finish it before you even walk out of the store

I've refilled a slurpee 3 times just because I was "browsing" the store's "huge" selection during a hundred degree day. Gotta love free slurpees.

I never said it was that big of a deal. Also I mentioned that I thought most people already knew about it - which looks like they did. Just trying to contribute and maybe let those know that didn't know about it.

Got the Lemon Berry Cooler - sweet. But 7.11 oz?!? I put in the bigass straw and it was triple the cup size. Still free is my kinda price... See you next year!

Too bad the store isn't called 11-Seven! Btw, my flavor is Pina Colada.
